Why We Built This Site
Maryland gives the public access to many court and agency records, but Baltimore City records are split by court level and record type. The Clerk of the Circuit Court handles Circuit Court civil, criminal, family, land, marriage, and copy matters. District Court clerks handle traffic, landlord-tenant, small civil, and many misdemeanor cases. The Register of Wills and Orphans' Court handle probate. DPSCS handles public custody lookup for covered incarcerated individuals. We pull together official contacts, search portals, fee sources, and request steps for those offices.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
